Expenguin is an expense-tracking app. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. In short: nothing leaves your device.
Expenguin does not collect any data about you or your usage of the app. Specifically:
All information you enter into Expenguin - including expenses, refunds, categories, payment methods, and app settings - is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. This data is never sent to us or to any third party, because we have no servers and no way to receive it.
If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device along with it. Expenguin itself also provides a "Reset All Data" option in Settings that permanently deletes this information at any time, at your request.
Expenguin does not share any information with third parties, because no information is collected in the first place. The app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services.
Expenguin does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app collects no data at all, this applies equally to users of any age.
If this policy ever changes - for example, if a future version of the app adds an optional feature that involves data leaving the device - this page will be updated, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
